Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Hermitian Technologies collects, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• When you apply or pre-book: name, phone number, email, current status (student/graduate/working), college or employer, course interest, preferred batch, and how you heard about us.
• When you create an account: your email address and a login code sent to it. We do not store passwords.
• When you pay: payment status, amount and a Razorpay transaction reference. Card and UPI details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our servers.
• Automatically: basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security and to keep the site working.

Why we collect it

• To reach out about your enquiry and help you choose a course.
• To reserve and confirm your seat and process payments.
• To run the course: attendance, assignments, certificates, placement support.
• To send you updates about your batch. We do not sell your data or send third-party marketing.

Who we share it with

• Razorpay, to process payments.
• Email delivery provider, to send login codes and confirmations.
• Employers, only your resume and profile, only during placement week, and only with your consent.
• Nobody else, unless required by law.

Where it's stored

On cloud servers hosted by MongoDB Atlas and Vercel. Access is restricted to the founders and protected by login.

How long we keep it

Enquiry and pre-booking data: 12 months from your last contact with us. Enrolled-student records: 3 years after course completion, for certificate verification. Payment records: as required by Indian tax law.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email us at hermitian.technologies@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian should make the request.

Cookies

We use one strictly necessary cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage to remember your language choice. No advertising cookies.
